1 to write for S.A.E.C. I'm sure everyone reading thiswould like to thank Jason for getting rid of the mags best tipster. I'd suggest that Jason should grow up and leave us all in peace as he prattles on all the time.

1 status of once great software houses like Ocean and U.S. Gold.Fortunately, U.S. Gold has learned its lesson and has either cancelled most tie-ins for future release, or is spend-ing a lot more time developing the game themselves.
1 skills. This is all a very long winded way of saying that neither Judith or myself are wizard programmers. But we have been dabbling, in my case, for acouple of years and in Judith's case, just under a year.

1 just got on with programming by ourselves. We won the bet. Hence we became involved with computers. As to your question about our favourite computers, Ilike the Spectrum best, I'm not sure about Judith, but Colin prefers things with Commodore orAcorn written on them.
1 humour range. Nodoubt, someone will produce more of the super- hero titles that I have kept away from here because I do not consider them as real hard core tie-in property, (I'm talking about comic books, not animated cartoons).

1 from the obvious Hobbit and Lord of the Rings plus the otherbook titles like Doug Adams Hitch-hikers' there are more easily categorised games such asHe-Man.
1 famous adventures like Snowball and The Hobbit. Judith has done Robin of Sherwood, Project X andsome others that I can't recall. But really, we don't have much time to play adventures.
1 despite assurances that it was not a personal attack on his character.
1 changes at Delta 4. Also their new adventure The Big Sleaze has just been released and we will be reviewing it next month.

1 You will find a credit card. To get objects in shops either hireitem or buy item. Be careful what you buy as your credit is limited. You can increase your credit by entering the bank or selling the egg to somebody who needs it.
1 You need the passport and tickets and make sure you don't have theshaving foam.
1 You may have to have a saved position, buy book and examine or read the book.
1 Why did you start Delta 4?
1 Why did you include a Ceefax type board at the end of Bored Of The Rings?
1 Who works at Delta 4 at present?
1 Which games have Delta 4 written for the Spectrum?
1 Which computers do you write on?
1 Where do you get the inspirat- ion for the funny bits in your games?
1 When you first arrive on the beach.
1 When we write an adventure game,it is a most complex process. First, we switch on the computerthen we load The Quill. After pressing lots of keys and fidd- ling about with databases and The Illustrator, we finally savethe game, send it off, and get paid. And that's all there is toit. (Sounds like a Micro Live explanation of a programmers task J.R.).
1 When Beryl asks at bullfight.
1 What previous work have you had?
1 What kind of hardware do you own?
1 What hardware do we own? What hardware don't we own! At the last count we had:- Commodore 64's (two); 1541 disc drive simulators (two); Commodore 128 with MPS 801 printer and cass- ette deck (one); Amstrad 8256
1 What could we see in the future, and just as important, who from? I fully expect a few more tie-ins from U.S. Gold. Hopefully this time they won't base them on under tens cartoons.
1 Well, that's four tie-in titles and only one is not totally defined as brilliant,
1 Wear sun tan lotion, wear trunks, knot hanky and wearhanky.
   1 Wear snorkel and swim
1 We've only done part time work before now. I used to work in a shop and Judith used to work as an egg packer.
1 We will never abandon Gilsoft's excellent Quill system for the rather pathetic GAC! Not in a million years!
1 We put Sceptical onto Bored Of The Rings because we'd seen Design Design's Spectacle and thought it was a good idea. And yes, Sceptical II lurks at the end of The Boggit.
1 We have several idols in the computing world. I myself worship someone (who for her sake, will remain anonymous), but I also think that Margaret Austin is a bit ravaging.
1 We have already seen a few tie-ins in adventure form. Apart
1 We got involved with The Colour Of Magic through John Gilbert from Sinclair User. He asked us what book we would ideally like to turn into an adventure and, after we suggested TCOM, he put us in touch with MacMillan/ Piranha who bought the rights tothe book.

1 So now you know the secret of Monsieur McNeil's hilarious comedy scenes. Yhanks are due toDelta 4 and especially to Judithfor not killing me after Fergus got me schtuk with a certain name problem. Anyway, good luck with the new game and don't forget to mention me in the new Sceptical.

1 My favourite Delta 4 game has tobe The Boggit. My favourite game of all would be a choice between The Hobbit and Zork.
1 Maybe they will start to be produced on the GAC or even the new PAW. Who knows, maybe another Creator will be written to make super-hero games exactlylike Redhawk. We shall see.

1 Inspiration for comedy scenes comes from books like Hitch- hikers, The Colour of Magic, etc, and from TV shows like Max Headroom, Spitting Image, and generally just from the normal pointless discussion that goes on here during the day.
1 If all money is spent on licence and advert- ising for game then:
1 I've made it back alive, there was no Balrog waiting to drown me at the local swiming pool. Maybe he was too busy finally beating Terrors of Trantoss. By the way, is his new game a spoof of ol' T. of T.? Does any-one know?
1 I've completed some of the more
1 I wouldn't really say that we make a massive profit. If I did I'd be walloped for tax and havepeople coming to the door askingfor money. But we get by. Some- times it's a bit tight when people who owe us large sums of money take their time paying, but generally we're okay. Most of our money goes on new hard-

1 I don't know how Judith got involved with Delta 4. It had something to do with a 48K Spectrum, but it's a long story.

1 How do you go about writing your games?
